Photo Set: Shots from my LG phone

Since my two year contract is almost up, I thought I would pull some of the most intriguing photos my humble 3.2 MP phone has taken since Spring 2010. More often than not, it was the only camera I had with me (and you know what they say about the camera that's with you).

Photoshoot: Fujifilm Neopan 400

Currently my favorite black and white film to use. Sad that you can only find it in 35mm now but that's better than nothing. With rumors of certain films getting discontinued coming from all angles, it may be time to start a mini-stockpile.

Film Roll: Lomography LA Turns 2 & Kodak Portra 400

Never pushed film before until this roll. Just a few shots of the Lomography Gallery Store LA's 2 year anniversary party. Inside the camera was Portra 400, but I ended up shooting it at 1600 (two stops) to get a decent shutter speed. The new Portra is supposed to be very good with pushing and the results seems to agree. On a side note, I was the one who mounted and hung the 25 photos on the wall in the following pics :)

Film Roll: Los Angeles and Fuji Neopan 400

@drew_dice27

This was actually the roll of film I had in my camera before I took the photos of the Lomography LA party. 400 speed would have been too slow without a flash, so I rewound mid-roll and put in the Delta 3200. After forgetting about this roll a few times in the past few weeks, I finally got it processed. Compared to the other black and white films I've shot with (Ilford Delta 400, 3200, and HP5+), this may be my favorite one so far.

Check out some of the rest!

Event: Go Wild Party @ Lomography Gallery Store LA

On the 26th of January, the Lomography Gallery Store LA celebrated the release of their animal-themed cameras for the Valentine's Day season. Since the store lighting gets dim and moody in the evening, it was a great opportunity to try out a roll of Ilford Delta 3200. Up until then, the fastest film speed I had ever shot with was only 400. Once I got the scans back, I was really psyched about the look of the grain and the thick contrast. Click on to check out the rest!
